Mary Scott Russell will lead a ``Redemption
Project Workshop'' from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at South Miami City
Hall, 6130 Sunset Dr.
Cosponsors of the portion on sealing records are the Miami-Dade
public defender's office and the Miami-Dade state attorney's office.
The restoration of voting rights cosponsors are the Florida
American Civil Liberties Union, the Miami-Dade branch of the National
Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the Dade County Bar
Association, the Black Lawyers Association, the Haitian Lawyers
Association, the University of Miami Black Law Students Association, the
Nova Southeastern University Black Law Students Association and Brothers
of the Same Mind.
